Recently, my mother, aunt and two friends went with me to the Dallas Arboretum to have my bridal portraits taken. A beautiful place — surrounded by people I love — it was priceless.
I want to express my gratitude to four women who worked hard to make this very important event especially amazing for all.
Ann Turpin — a talented stylist based at Tiger Lily Salon on Brook Street; Jennifer Reid and her sister Donna Baker, of Jennifer Reid Photography; and Cheyenne Neal, owner of Sincerely Yours Florist in Iowa Park. All of these women are true artists and I am so thankful to have them on “our wedding team.”
Ann met with me several times and practiced with me to ensure we got it just right. My hairstyle lasted over 12 HOURS! Outside, inside, in the wind and even a bit of rain — Ann made sure it was perfect. Ann is not only an experienced and accomplished stylist — she is a friend and I am so thankful for her.
Jennifer Reid and her sister traveled from Ryan, Okla., - their home base - to the Dallas photo shoot. They truly made me feel like a beautiful bride and seeing my mother smile and laugh and look so proud during the session made me know these women went above and beyond.
And what about the flowers? Suffice it to say Cheyenne Neal does amazing work. She did such an awesome job my delicate flowers lasted for two days after the shoot.
If you are ever in need of a florist, hair designer, or photographer- and if you want the best, then you want these ladies. As businesswomen they epitomize class and as service providers they do everything they can to make sure the client is ecstatic with the results. Take any opportunity you have to work with these women - they all have such a passion for their professions and I am forever in debt to them for helping create such beautiful memories for me and my family.
